The Closer You Are To God

I've been tossed to and fro in my faith recently. I'm so confused whether it's my hormones or true trials I'm going through. One thing I think I badly need now is a time of quietness, to come before my Creator and I hope His light will shed some insights into the state I'm in right now. One thing I'm also aware is that sometimes when we're about to break through spiritually, that's when devilish opposition is the strongest. There's spiritual warfare but Christ has accomplished and secured all victories already. I need help and I really pray that God can send someone to give me a word of wisdom, that's all I need to break free from my confusion now. God reads blogs. :)

I like your comment about the Bible being a blog. So insightful.

I understand your feeling of being tested. At the moments when I needed the most faith, I felt like I had the least amount. I look back on some of those difficult times of my life when I spent a lot of time on my knees asking for answers and wondered why I was so alone.

I felt the enemy's opposition at every turn and I felt abandoned. I realize now the answers were always there. I was never alone, I just was not getting the answer I wanted. Instead I got the right answer.

Your answer and breakthrough are there. You are just not seeing the whole picture yet. Keep strong in your faith. You will make it. Blessings.

Thank you Rae for taking the trouble to minister to me. What you'd said is exactly how I'm feeling. The words "breakthrough" and "not seeing the whole picture" yet were the words given to me these few days. So I'm on the right course now, I just need to pray it through. Thanks sister, love you.

And my dear Alpha, the Bible is God's bestseller, yes, yes, His Journal too, and His love letter to you. There is an 'Alpha' group going on around the world where people are invited to attend to find out more about Jesus. Is it by mere coincidence you've called yourself Alpha? Alpha, please go join the Alpha group. :) :)

Whenever I'm reading through Blogs and I see the words, God, faith, prayer, etc...I NEVER read them. I ALWAYS read yours. Your honest spirit just shines through your words. You remind me of a song I learned in church as a child."This little light of mine, I'm gonna' let it shine!" You may feel confused, but that God is in your life is very apparent to me!

I can't recall if i thanked you for visiting my blog. If not, than thank you. Wow, I didn't even know others had similar ways in which I grew up, but yes you are right; God healed us both as you stated. Praise God!

I don't see a testimony link on your blog. Did you share it somewhere on there because I would love to read how God transformed you as well.

Blessings,
Sarah

Dear Neen, I've taken you as a very special online friend, partly bec I feel your pain in loosing a son, and partly bec of what a genuine human you're. I'm thrilled to know that you bother to read my life experiences in Christ. Thank you for your encouragement and I sincerely hope and pray that one day, you'll be able to place your faith in Christ too. :)

Dear Sarah, I'm so happy to have stumbled into your blog and so glad to read your honest testimony. I've not put my testimony up, still figuring how to do it, cos it involves my foster mom ... who hasn't a clue that I was so hurt by her in the past, BUT that was in the past, she's a Christian now and God has changed her into a better and better mom each day, praise God. :)

I'm not sure if I insulted you with the freedom of my expression when I talked about God, if that is the case I apologize because that wasn't my intention.

Andrea dear, it has NEVER crossed my mind that you've ever insulted me or God, so there is no need for an apology. Anyway, God welcomes your straight talk, especially if you say it to Him personally. And, I like you. You are one of the most talented blog writers I've ever come across! And a kind soul too. And, chocolate is our common bond ;) :)

Andrea,
I've left a comment in your blog, but it kinda rejected it??? Anyway, I was thanking you there, and saying that I've stopped relaying awards nowadays bec it's too time-consuming, though I really appreciate all these gestures of friendship, and being honoured time and again, really, but I apologize for not being able to pass the award on, there are too many deserving bloggers out there, and I simply have too little time to keep up. Thank you once again Andrea and pl excuse me for not passing on your award, sorry. :)

I have comment moderation, so i don't miss when someone comments, no worries it's published now:)
I know that they are time consuming, always takes me a while to post it lol, but I couldn't let the Bloggy friends award pass your door:)
