Failure

How many times have you tried to do right and failed?
How many times have you thought that you could do a little better next time?
Then when you repeat your service, you find yourself tripping over the same weakness, well, may be doing slightly better than before, but still, tripping over the same area?

I'm so tired of myself.

But I did try my level best and I know God understood and accepted.
Still, I wish I could have done better.

Sometimes I really think that it's better not to do anything than to cause damage, cos I've seen and experienced myself the mistakes of others. How relationships and friendships could be marred because you sound the alarm.

Thank God for His mercy and patience towards us. I'm flawed but STILL in His service.

We have this treasure in earthen vessels. It means mistakes are made. But as long as you have a heart that reaches up to God to change you. He will continue to use you and bless the works of your hands. He used Moses, a murderer, David an adulterer, Paul a persecuter of the church.

It is His power we do things for Him and not our own. The enemy wants us afraid of our sin, our possible failure because it makes us stagnant and unsure. God says not by might or power by my spirit.

We have to constantly tell ourselves, God this is your work. Let me decrease so you might increase. The maturity will come, the mistakes will be less and His voice will be louder and lead us.

Our best can be on a different level each day. I remind myself of that when I don't always do as well as other days.
