Lifting you up to the One Who knows what's best for you sister. You may think that you bore others but maybe even one, is being encouraged by you...They just don't leave comments. Be strong in the Lord's mighty power sister! God bless.
Thank you sis.
Hi Jane,
I'm praying for you sister but I'm beginning to get a sense that you're being overwhelmed by the effort required to sustain this ministry and it seems as if you're isolated (perhaps I'm mistaken).
Please forgive me for asking these questions, I don't mean to appear critical only inquisitive.
Are you alone in this ministry? Who supports you (in leadership)? You need to go to those who've always been your support (giving counsel, praying, and giving financially) and seek their wisdom. Pray with those you look to and rely on, expecting God to give you the guidance you need so desperately in this hour.
What happens to this ministry should you step down? Will it continue on? Is it possible that your season in this ministry is reaching a conclusion? The end of this ministry may usher in the beginning of a new ministry or it may just mean that you need to rest, recharge and wait on the direction of the Lord.
When you say, "I'm really lost", my heart is broken because I know your love for Christ and much effort had to be exerted to bring you to this point. Go to those you trust my sister and seek their counsel.
I will continue to pray for you to once again experience the peace of God.
Blessings and peace.
MTJ
You're absolutely not boring anyone! You're precious to God, and He loves everything you do. When I start to feel overwhelmed I remind myself to
1. Love God with all my heart
2. Love my neighbors
It's that simple! Ask God to put people in your path who are in need, and then respond to them out of mercy. That's all He's really asking us to do...
Thanks MTJ and Deborah, I'll get back to you both as soon as I find the time. Thanks for your love and support. :)
You are far from boring to your readers! You must never think you are. As for not knowing what to do next, please do not worry ... God will show you. It will come to you in a way you never expected and you suddenly will know at once exactly what it is you need to do.
Thanks Polly, I do what I see that I can do, and leave what I can't change to God.
Hi Jane, you are wise to leave what you cannot change to God! It took me a long time to learn that. There was a time in my life when I failed to see such a simple truth. Thank you for the comment on my little blog. It means a great deal to me.
I'm glad to know you! :)
